Spectator Liability Insurance Claim:

• If you as a spectator hurt yourself, and feel you wish to make a claim against the Host's insurance:

• Per the insurance company on Spectator claims, the spectator must retain legal counsel and send a letter of Representation to the league at Information@tyfa.com so it can be sent to the insurance company.

• From that point forward communication will be between the lawyer and the insurance company.

• Once we receive notification from you that you wish to make a claim, we will check the schedule to determine:

  • Was the facility covered by insurance; and

  • Was the event an officially scheduled event.

• If the host of the event was at a facility without an insurance policy, your lawyer needs to communicate with them and not TYFA.

• If the host was running an event that was not an officially schedule TYFA event, then your lawyer needs to communicate with them and not TYFA.
