Spectator Liability Insurance Claim:
If you as a spectator hurt yourself, and feel you wish to make a claim against the Host's insurance:
Per the insurance company on Spectator claims, the spectator must retain legal counsel and send a letter of Representation to the league at Information@tyfa.com so it can be sent to the insurance company.
From that point forward communication will be between the lawyer and the insurance company.
Once we receive notification from you that you wish to make a claim, we will check the schedule to determine:
Was the facility covered by insurance; and
Was the event an officially scheduled event.
If the host of the event was at a facility without an insurance policy, your lawyer needs to communicate with them and not TYFA.
If the host was running an event that was not an officially schedule TYFA event, then your lawyer needs to communicate with them and not TYFA.
